As a small local business owner, we wear many hats and often find ourselves dividing our time and attention among many tasks. We rely on the companies and systems we work with, especially large multinational firms like our e-commerce platform.
Recently, we discovered that payments for our e-commerce orders in our website had not been processed due to a system error. Although we fulfilled all our e-commerce customer orders, no payments were actually received. This issue persisted over a period of months, and has a financial impact on our business.
As such, we are reaching out to our affected customers in the hopes of settling payments for their completed orders. Given the prevalence of scams, we want to emphasize that this is a genuine issue that has greatly affected our small local business. We sincerely hope that our customers will understand our predicament and pay for the orders they received, even in some cases up to 10 months ago.
